About bricks2clicks

My blog, bricks2clicks is about retailers with physical shops that also want to do business online (Bricks to Clicks).

Until recently, if we wanted to buy something, we had to leave our home or office and visit a shop. The local shopping center was almost part of the family, and family of many where communities gathered to see, hear and touch each other

People visited shopping centers to do shopping, of course, but also to feel good – enjoy a meal at a restaurant, watching the latest box-office hit at the movie-house or just hanging out with friends. Until the internet arrived…

The onset of the internet has changed how we interact with other people. Nowadays we don’t necessary need to gather at the shopping center to catch up with the latest gossip and news. We have smartphones to get in touch and interact with our family, friends and community, 24/7 from everywhere. Shopping online is more convenient with more choices and many times with better prices. It seemed that we no longer need shops…

As people started to do more shopping and meetings online,  the shops and shopping centers started losing customers. Bricks and Mortar shops need therefore to go online to stay in touch with their customers.

Brick2Clicks is about adding the internet to your physical shop. It also covers the fundamentals of business, such as business- and marketing planning.

Brick2Clicks will

I will publish from time to time, blogging on the latest news, research and opportunities regarding Brick and Mortar- and online SME in the retail sector. If you need help with business- and/or marketing plans, please visit eBizplan.

Your comments are welcome!

Warm regards.

Transit TV was one of those “let’s talk about it for with endless useless meetings and discussions about it at taxpayer expense for decades” which is what people wanted back in the 1980s, and just when they got finally to do it by the 2000s, the technology has moved to where people started having their own smartphones and entertainment devices.
